On Wednesday, 3 July 2024, Amb. Joyce Khasimwa M’Maitsi, presented to His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola, the Letters of Credence accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to the Republic of Angola. This officially marks the beginning of exercising the function of Ambassador in Angola.
Kenya looks forward to further enhancing the Kenya-Angola bilateral relations and cooperation. The focus is close collaboration with the respective Angolan Authorities and other stakeholders, to implement the agreed roadmap for structured engagement and frameworks of cooperation. This will unlock the immense multi-sectoral potential in the relations of the two countries.
