H.E Ambassador Josphat Maikara Received Ambassador of South Africa H.E Phakola Fannie at the Kenya Embassy on 3rd of October 2019.
H.E Amb. Sianga Abilio paid a courtesy call to H.E Amb. Josphat Maikara at the Kenya Embassy, Luanda – Angola. The two Ambassadors also discuss the forthcoming Kenya – Angola Trade & Investment conference to be held on the 23rd to 25th July 2019, in Luanda, Angola.

For a routine meeting to discuss bilateral issues between our two countries, Kenya and Angola, H.E Amb. Josphat Maikara just met with H.E Manuel Augusto Minister for External Relations of the Republic of Angola.

The Cabinet Secretary Amb. Monica Juma, DPhil, CBS met H.E. President João Lourenço, President of Republic Angola in his palace earlier today (23 July 2018).
She presented to the President, a message of Goodwill which invited H.E. President João Lourenço to visit Kenya at his convenient time.
H.E. expressed his joy to have received the message from His brother H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He accepted the invitation and asked the two ministers to start organizing and suggest the best dates on both sides.
H.E. President João Lourenço, underscored the many areas of interest that both Kenya and Angola stand to benefit through their their bilateral cooperation.
He retaliated the long time experience of Angola in oil petroleum and mining which Kenya can learn from now that Kenya is starting to mine oil.
He noted that Kenya has over time established itself as an authoritative Tourism destination and Angola will be glad to learn from Kenya.
He urged the two ministers of Foreign Affairs to work together in discussing and concluding the next JCC between the two countries.
Cabinet Secretary Amb. Monica Juma today (22nd July, 2018) evening hosted the African Group of Ambassadors to a reception during which she addressed them on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
In her address she underscored the role of the AfCFTA in delivering Agenda 2063. She urged the ambassadors to play their role in placing the African Agenda at the core of their work and draw from the resolve of the African fore fathers, to secure the future of the continent.
The Cabinet Secretary Amb. Monica Juma is on a two day official visit to Luanda Angola, from 22nd to 24th July 2018.
While in Luanda the CS is scheduled to deliver a special message from H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta to H.E. President João Lourenço, President of Angola.
Upon her arrival in Luanda, the CS was received by H.E. Domingos Custodio Vierra Lopes, Secretary of State Ministry of External Relations and Kenya’s Ambassador to Angola Amb. Josphat Maikara.
