Kenya delegation, led by Ms. Teresia Mbaika Malokwe, Principal Secretary for Aviation and Aerospace Development and Amb. Joyce M’maitsi, Ambassador of Kenya to Angola attended the 2nd UN Tourism and ICAO Ministerial Conference on Tourism and Air Transport in Africa from 22nd to 24th July 2025 in Luanda.
The forum brought together leaders, policymakers, industry professionals and experts to analyze current challenges, identify actionable solutions, and propose a collaborative roadmap for advancing both tourism and air transport sectors.
The Conference adopted the Luanda Ministerial Statement, acknowledging the critical role of air connectivity and tourism as twin drivers of economic integration, regional development, and inclusive growth across Africa.
